What is Herbalism?
Herbalist are people who study and practice herbalism. “Herbal” pertains to plants, specifically with medicinal properties, and “ist” is one who does. It’s working with plants that have actions on the body that support one’s daily wellness. Herbalists make tinctures, teas, salves, glycerities, and oils to make medicines from plants and flowers.

What is a tincture and how do I take it?
Tinctures are liquid herbal extracts made from plants. The liquid can be alcohol, apple cider vinegar, and glycerine. They are either taken orally under the tongue or in another liquid like water, juice, smoothies, or cocktails.

What is your return and exchange policy?
Due to the nature of our products being hand crafted in small batches with their natural qualities and no preservatives, we cannot accept returns or exchanges.
My order arrived damaged or. broken, what do I do?
We will happily replace items arrived defective or damaged. Please promptly send us an email with photos of damaged items and boxes at herbalgypsies@gmail.com so that we can send it to our shipping carrier.
What is your shipping method?
We use USPS to ship your package for a rate based upon the weight of your package around the USA. We are a small batch company and our products are made to order by hand so it usually takes 2-3 business days (not including USPS transit time).
Do you ship internationally?
We do not accept international orders at this time. We hope to grow and be able to ship out orders over seas in the future.

How long do they last?
This depends on the product! All the skincare products last between one to two years. The alcohol based tinctures last a lifetime, glycerin based for 6 months, and Apple Cider Vinegar tinctures for up to a year. The Elderberry products without alcohol last up to six months.
Are your products tested on animals?
Of course not! We are animal lovers and would never do such a thing.
How do I know if I have allergies to these products?
Please read the ingredient list carefully. If you have sensitive skin and or history of allergies we highly recommend you perform a skin test. Because we are a small company making products in the same kitchen, we can’t guarantee the absence of cross contamination.
Do you have samples?
Since we are a small company we do not offer samples but hope to in the future!
What if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
Please consult your physician before using any of our products since they contain essential oils and herbs that may not be safe for pregnant or nursing women.
Are these products FDA approved?
